The NT split is a standard NT1Q with an integrated ADSL splitter. Once the ADSL interface is enabled, every ISDN connection equipped with the NT split becomes ADSL capable on the subscriber side due to integration of the NT1Q and the ADSL splitter in one device.
To support the ADSL strategy of the network operators, subscriber-side changes are no longer necessary for upgrades from ISDN to ADSL if the NT split is used. This leads to considerable savings in logistics during the conversion.
Functionally, the NT split is fully compatible with an NT1Q and an ADSL splitter. The NT1Q and the splitter are optimally coordinated in the NT split, thereby providing advantages in terms of transmission characteristics.
The data transfer takes place via line code 2B1Q. The German Brilink NT split realizes the data transfer via line code 4B3T.

"We are large enough to be able to realize the most sophisticated of projects around the globe to a high degree of perfection. At the same time, we are still of a manageable size and thus able to react quickly and flexibly all over the world."
